If you get paid by the hour, your clients may be interested in how you spend your time working, for accurate billing. Keeping track of your working hours can be a chore. Time tracking applications are designed specifically for this task, but you still need to configure them and make sure they are working properly. Bit Computing TimeTrack eliminates the need to make complex configurations. It is sufficient to launch the application and continue your work as usual, to create detailed reports about your computer usage.

The application works on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 and it doesn't need to be installed. You can download its executable and run it immediately, without going through a setup process. Although Bit Computing TimeTrack is not free, its trial version is fully functional, so you can test all its features to see how they work.

As previously suggested, all you have to do is run the application and let it work in the background. It displays a wide range of statistics, on its user interface, such as used programs, opened documents, visited websites and more. The software also displays the time you spend with each program, document and so on, as well as billable and unbillable hours. Additionally, Bit Computing TimeTrack displays an efficiency overview, which includes the time you spend on efficient or inefficient work.

The software allows you to add new entries manually, manage expenses, task categories and other items, on separate windows. Tracked activities are categorized automatically, according to a set of predefined rules, which you can modify. To modify or create a rule, you must select one or more conditions and actions. For example, you can select a condition like the existence of certain keywords in a web address and choose an action like assigning the website to a certain category or skipping it.
